They really enjoy playing with the farm in the small world area and developing their fine motor skills by building flowers.

We had an amazing time on World Book Day.
All of the children in year 1 worked hard to create and recite a poem about Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk.
We wrote character descriptions in the form of wanted posters to describe Jack from our story.

Class 3 were really lucky today and were read a story by Mr Waters.
They loved listen listening to ‘Who will kiss the crocodile’ and really enjoyed the props that went with the story.

In science this week we have been looking at the difference between deciduous and evergreen trees.
We went on a tree hunt around the school and looked at the different leaves to help us decide what kind of tree it was.
