Year 2 (Class 7) - Art - Primary & Secondary Colours
Class 7 have been continuing our artwork inspired by Leonid Afremov.
Today we mixed primary colours to make secondary colours and added tints and shades to make them lighters and darker to create our colourful backgrounds.

Year 5 (Class 14) - English - School Library Visit
Class 14 really enjoyed their first library time today.
They explored and each chose a book to read. I look forward to the next session, when the children will be able to share what they have read with the rest of the class and maybe pick a book that has been recommended by someone.

Some of class 7 and year 2 have been taking part in shape walks around school.
Looking for 2D shapes and taking pictures of them. They found circles, squares, rectangles and triangles.

The children are continuing to enjoy construction club.
There are some bigger builds that will take another couple of weeks to complete, but they are well on their way. The group of children doing the jigsaw have now completed it.
They were very happy when the last piece was fitted.…
