This week in French, we practised our classroom, play scripts ready to perform our mini plays next week. We have some very bossy teachers!

Year 5 (Class 12) - Languages - French Speaking

Class 12 have been practicing their French speaking skills.
They have been learning about colours and items of clothing.
They used their skills to say what each person on the screen was wearing.

Class 16 have been learning about clothing in French and started to learn today how to ask what someone is wearing and replying n French.
The girls made a great start, well done!

Year 5 (Class 13) - Languages - European Day of Languages
Class 13 discussed all the different languages that are spoken by the children in our class.
Some of the children wrote down a greeting and their name in the language they speak at home.
We also scratched off the different countries that children in our class were born in, or have family…

Year 4 (Class 11) - French / Music - Euro Vison 2025
Class 11 enjoyed creating their Eurovision entry.

Year 6 (Class 16) - Languages - French
Class 16 have been practicing their French by acting out a café scenario. They had to order food and drink and the waiter had to take their order.

Year 3 (Class 8) - Languages - Fruits and Vegetables
Year 3 have enjoyed learning how to say if they like or dislike fruits and vegetables in French.

Year 6 (Class 15) - Languages - Pronunciation
Class 15 enjoyed recapping over the pronunciation of the “th” sound and then practised pronouncing a variety of words with the “th” sound.
Children then enjoyed completing a translation task using their vocabulary books and French dictionaries.

In our French lesson this week, we enjoyed learning about the Olympic Games, which are taking place in Paris this year.
