Class 7 performed their own pirate poems.
They learnt about riddles, practiced and wrote their own before getting into the pirate spirit and performing them on pirate day.

Year 2 (Class 6) - Pirate Day
We had a great 'Pirate Day' in class 6!

Today we used data loggers to test how reflective different materials are.

Developing fine motor control and hand-eye coordination in KS1.
The children enjoyed weaving African patterns to create a basket.
It was trying but we tried our best to remember over and under.

Year 4 (Class 11) - Commando Joe's - Map of the World
Class 11 have enjoyed looking at Nellie Bly who talented the world in 72 days back in 1888.
The children then used a variety of equipment to represent a map of the world.

Year 4 (Class 11) - French - Virtual Trip
Class 11 have enjoyed taking a virtual trip to France.
After getting through security they took off to Charles De Gaulle airport visiting the Sein, Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, before landing at Leeds Bradford Airport.

Class 11 spent a lovely day at Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

Class 3 had lots of fun learning a poem called African Animals.
They made up some actions to it and practised as a class.
They then performed the poem in small groups in front of the rest of the class.
