Year 5 - Art - Bartsy Banksy Around School
Our Bartsy activism art has been placed around school to spread a positive message. From Mrs Wainwright’s office to the Boys and Girls toilets, the dinner hall, our water coolers and recycle bins.
Even Mr Worsnop has one in his office warning of the dangers of AI.

Year 5 (Class 13) - English - Author Visit
The famous author Daniel Ingham-Brown visited class 13 this week. He has published numerous books such as Bea's Witch.
In the workshop the children became ghost hunters and collaboratively wrote a ghost character description and an island setting description.

The children in class 13 have been investigating stereotypes and discrimination in PSHE lessons.
This week we discussed some of the discriminations in todays society, such as homophobia, sexism and racism.

Year 6 (Class 17) - Design Technology - Toys with Cams
Class 17 have started a new topic this half term. We will be making our own moving toy using cams to alter the movement.
Today we played with some moving toys and tried problem solving why some wouldn’t work.

Year 2 (Class 5) - Maths - Numbers Bonds to 20
Children in class 5 investigated number bonds to 20 using the Rekenreks.
They also looked at creating different fact families using the 3 numbers.
They were able to make 2 addition and 2 subtraction calculations.
