In class 6 we are recapping our learning about shape. Today we have looked at 2D shapes and their properties.

Year 2 (Class 6) - Seaside Picnic Snacks
Class 6 made more delicious snacks for a seaside picnic this week! We made fruit sculptures and created seaside scenes onto cupcakes using fruit.

Today we showed off our language skills by translating a passage in French about hobbies and preferences into English.

Today we looked at the story of Exodus and how Moses lead the Hebrew people from slavery and in to the desert.

Year 3 (Class 9) Commando Joe's - The Valley of Kings
Today we visited the Valley of the kings as Nellie Bly did on her adventure around the world in 80 days.

Year 4 (Class 11 & Class 12) - Science - Forces
Year 4 went to Armley Park to see forces in action.
They saw the push and pull off the swing and how gravity makes them come down.
They also noticed the friction involved in a slide and how adding water reduces the friction making you go faster.
