Year 3 (Class 8) - Science - The Rock Cycle | St. Bartholomew’s C of E Primary School

Today we started looking at rocks. We learnt about the rock cycle using starburst as pretend sediments.

We made our own lava! Then we identified different rocks using a key and tested their properties.

We used magnifying glasses to look closely and a scratch test to test durability.
