Class 4 have been learning about senses this term. We practised using our noses to smell different things and talk about if we liked each smell.

Year 1 (Class 3 and Class 4) - R.E - Celebration Day!
Class 3 and 4 had an amazing time for their Celebration Day! We dressed in clothes that are special to us and talked about the different events that we celebrate.
We then learnt all about Diwali and made our own diya lamps. We also had lots of fun learning some Indian dances!

Class 4 have enjoyed practising subtraction within 10 using a number line.

Class 4 have enjoyed going on a local walk around Armley.
We named the different types of houses that we could see and thought about whether they were modern or old houses.
We then walked down Town Street and talked about the different kinds of shops that we could see.

In Science we have been learning about the seasonal changes that take place in autumn. We went outside to look for evidence of these changes and found lots of different coloured leaves.
