Year 6 (Class 14) - Design Technology - Art Straw Bridges

Class 14 have made bridges using art straws. 

They learnt that the strongest shape was the triangle. The children worked together to make a truss bridge, which we then tested for strength by loading weight onto them. 

They didn't all work, but with some quick fixes to stabilise their structures they will work well.
