Food Donation

Before half term, Pupil Parliament suggested we could use the food donated kindly by parents and careers across school, by sending it to a local food bank to help people in the area around school. They made the decision to send the food to Yum on Armley Town street. 

They emailed the people in charge and the response was one of gratitude, explaining how it will help many families in the local vicinity, and beyond. 

This week, the children collected all the bags and set off to Yum to deliver the food. It was gratefully received and, hopefully, an annual donation will be sent.
