Nursery - Cooking in the Classroom

We had a wonderful time on Wednesday, we were cooking in the classroom.

We were using the fruits that are in the book Handa's Surprise. We chopped the fruit to add to yoghurt and oats to make a delicious breakfast dessert.  

We also mashed up avocado with peppers and coriander and made guacamole, this we served with tortilla chips.

The guacamole was met with a mixed reaction, unlike the tortilla chips that were a firm favourite!
