St Bartholomew’s C of E Primary School is a church school which bases its ethos and rules on Christian values.
The school has also been very successful in raising the attainment of our children. In 2006 and 2009 the school was classed as outstanding by Ofsted. See the school report for 2009 on the Ofsted website.
We have also achieved excellent results in our KS2 SATS this year. You can view our Schools Performance Tables on the DfE website here.
We offer a rich and broad curriculum which recognises and celebrates our multi-cultural population, promoting tolerance and understanding amongst children, parents, staff and the wider community.
The school is proud to have achieved many awards including:-
● Healthy Schools National
● Healthy Schools Advanced
● Basic Skills

● Investors in Diversity Charter Mark
● Investors in Families Charter Mark

“ We are extremely proud of our school and hope that your child or children will be very happy with us.
The teachers, governors and support staff are all dedicated to providing the best possible broad and balanced education and valued learning environment for your child and we work enthusiastically to achieve this.
Our children enjoy all the benefits of a large primary school, which include well-equipped classrooms and teaching resources, up to date ICT provision and a food technology room as well as an After School Community Suite.
We look forward to welcoming your child to our school and hope our association with you will be happy and mutually supportive.”
